Nice RUA3 is the original inverter unit board manufactured for Nice Run 2500I series sliding gate motors. The board operates on a 230V AC input voltage and produces a controlled 24V DC power output to the motor, electronically optimizing the speed and torque of the gate movement. Featuring BlueBus communication protocol support, the RUA3 enables accessories such as photocells, flashers, buttons, and safety edges to be easily integrated into the system via two cables. With an IP44 protection rating, the board is resistant to dust and water splashes, and its wide operating temperature range of -20°C to +55°C allows it to be safely used in both indoor and outdoor applications. Symptoms such as vibration, delay, or immobility in gate control often indicate a failure of this board, and replacement of the board is recommended when such symptoms occur.

Replacing this control board is of INTERMEDIATE difficulty. Although the integration of the RUA3 into the system features a compact and standard mounting structure, the BlueBus accessories on the board and the existing cable connections must be noted or photographed before removal; errors in connection order and polarity may cause problems when recommissioning the system. After installation, basic parameters (gate length, deceleration distance, force setting) may need to be re-taught via the Nice programming unit.
