Nice RUA2 Control Board — Run 2500i Compatible Replacement Main Board

Nice RUA2 is the original replacement control board manufactured for the Run 2500i series inverter-based sliding gate motor systems. The board's functions include managing the motor's opening and closing cycles, applying slow-start and slow-stop (soft-start / soft-stop) profiles, running the automatic closing timer, and monitoring connected safety components. Operating on a 230V AC mains supply, the board drives the motor via a 24V DC output; this architecture both extends motor life and enables inverter-based speed control. The board features dedicated connection terminals for photocells, flasher, button, and safety edge, and thanks to BlueBus technology, compatible accessories can be connected to the board using just two conductors. The operating temperature range is -20°C to +55°C, and the IP54 protection rating ensures reliable service life against dust and water splashing. Fault symptoms of the board typically manifest as the motor not responding to commands, the flasher triggering incorrectly, or photocell circuits generating continuous alarms.

Replacing this control board is of MEDIUM difficulty. It is recommended to photograph or label the existing board's cable connections before disconnecting them, as the BlueBus output, photocell channels, and motor power terminals may feature similarly-looking connectors, and incorrect wiring can trigger the safety system or cause the motor to run in reverse. While the physical installation can be completed quickly via screws and the rail system, parameters such as limit switch values and the automatic closing time must be reconfigured after installation through the potentiometers on the board or via the programming procedure. It is recommended to be carried out by an experienced user with basic electrical knowledge or by an authorized service technician.
