Nice CARICA Battery Charge Board – WIL and WIDE Series Replacement Charge Control Unit

Nice CARICA is the original battery charge control board used in Nice WIL and WIDE series barrier and gate automation systems. The board simultaneously monitors 2 x 12V 7Ah lead-acid batteries integrated into the system, managing a balanced and controlled charging cycle. The charging voltage is 12V DC based; the board continuously reads the battery cell voltages and provides protection against critical conditions such as overcharging, deep discharge, and reverse polarity. If this unit fails, battery capacity drops rapidly, the backup power system becomes non-functional, and the device may completely stop operating during mains power outages; therefore, timely replacement of the charge board is critically important for system continuity.

Replacing the Nice CARICA charge board is rated EASY. The board is mounted inside the Nice WIL and WIDE series control units via a socketed connection system; no tools beyond basic hand tools, no cable configuration, or calibration procedure is required to remove the existing board and install the new one.
