BFT Zara BT A80 Control Board — Phobos BT B25 / B40 Compatible 24V DC Gate Automation Unit

BFT Zara BT A80 is a control board designed specifically for dual-motor swing gate systems, engineered to operate with BFT Phobos BT B25 and BFT Phobos BT B40 series 24V DC motors. The board is powered from a 230V AC mains supply and delivers 2 x 24V DC operating voltage across both motor outputs, enabling independent management of asymmetric leaf movements and varying load conditions. Rated to IP54 protection class for use inside control enclosures, the unit operates reliably across a wide temperature range of -10°C to +60°C. Thanks to the integrated D-Track technology, the board detects instantaneous load variations on the motor and intelligently optimises torque and speed parameters, reducing mechanical wear and extending the system's service life. The board supports photocell, emergency stop and safety edge inputs, while also providing lamp, lock and flasher outputs, enabling comprehensive automation integration. It is used to replace a faulty or legacy control board, to renew units damaged by programming errors, or to update the safety and comfort functions of the system.

All cable connections, DIP switch settings and potentiometer adjustments of the old board must be noted or photographed before replacement, as failure to configure the new board with the same settings may result in incorrect leaf synchronisation and deceleration distances. Cable terminations are fitted with standard screw-type terminal blocks, so a technician with basic electrical knowledge can carry out the procedure safely.
