BFT Deimos A600 control board serves as the brain of the Deimos BT A600 series motor units developed by BFT for industrial and semi-industrial sliding gate systems. Powered by a 230V AC mains input, the board drives the motor via a 24V DC output, managing soft-start and soft-stop functions directly at the electronic level. Through the connection terminals on the board, it enables the integration of peripheral accessories such as photocells, flashers, push buttons and remote control receivers; additionally, parameters such as automatic closing time and movement speed can be customised via the adjustment mechanisms on the board. Thanks to its IP54 protection rating, the board is resistant to dust and water splashes, and with its wide operating temperature range of -20°C to +60°C, it can be used reliably in outdoor applications. Control board failure over time may occur as a result of power surges, overcurrent, moisture penetration or mechanical impacts, causing the gate system to become completely inoperative — with the correct replacement board, the system can be brought back online in a short time.

Replacing this control board is of INTERMEDIATE difficulty. Photographing or noting the terminal connections on the board before removal significantly reduces the risk of errors during commissioning of the new board. Since the existing adjustment potentiometers and function selector positions must be matched exactly to the old board, basic electrical knowledge and a careful working method are recommended; however, no special tools or calibration equipment are required.
